Women's health
We offer maternity care, gynaecology, sexual health and breast screening. We also have Mobile Women’s Health Clinics for our rural and remote areas.

Cancer care
We have a state-of-the-art cancer care service for children and adults. This includes cancer care coordination for our rural and remote patients and families.

Our community health services provide primary and preventative health care, helping you to avoid hospital admissions and to maintain and improve your health.

Dental services
We have dental health services for school children and people who are eligible for public dental services in Queensland.

Sexual health
Confidential services including sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, sexual health counselling, contraceptives, transgender support and more.

We provide comprehensive mental health, rehabilitation and addiction assessment and treatment services for all age groups.

Cairns Hospital staff have helped a Mareeba man walk again.
Ben Crous, 60, has thanked the ‘amazing’ support of medical professionals who have got him back on his feet after he lost part of his left leg and hip following a bone cancer diagnosis in 2007.
Years later an invasive infection resulted in the total removal of his leg through to the hip joint. He has since been fitted with a prosthetic limb, and learnt to walk again.
