Hospital Foundation

The Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation is a non-profit organisation that supports Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service.

What does the Foundation do?

The Foundation has been an invaluable part of the Far North Queensland community since 1997. It's contributed more than $23 million to improve health outcomes in our region.

The Foundation's commercial operations, including a carpark, cafes and ATMs, support our administrative costs. This means every cent donated goes where it’s intended.

The Foundation provides more than $1 million in equipment funding each year and is increasing its investment into research each year.
